Greenmech 13-23 or Timberwolf 125

Hi guys, were looking for a new chipper. Got some good deals on these 2 machines but not sure what one to go for.

Any opinions from those in the know? or owners of these machines.

Greenmech appeals as it comes with a choice of petrol or diesel, we would have the diesel, plus it has the over sized feed rollers. Where as the timberwolf has 5inchx5inch feed rollers, and only comes in petrol. Im not worried about the price, its just the pros and cons of each machine.

Not to keen on the round blades on the greenmech either, or are they not that bad?

I ran 2 GreenMechs (and 1 other) some time ago - spot on, round blades? In the 5 years I had my GMs I never had to buy another blade, but I had several sets of ordinary flat blades at silly money per set!

In fact they were so good (here is where I am biased) when I packed it in, I went to work for them!

The 1323 is a relatively new machine so no figures on px values in the future have any real relevance here and now. The 1323 has a 16cm x 23cm opening so can do more brash without snedding cuts and . . . . . . . .

Sorry, I'm preaching now.:sneaky2:

I have owned both of the old versions of these machines, the tw is slightly quicker on streight timber, the gm wins on leafy brash especially conifer, you will never block the wee gm. the round blades last way longer than the flat ones.

The bearings are way better on the gm too.

I'd buy the greenmech.
