a company i used to work for done it back in the day. why not just hire a mewp?

As crazy as the bus idea is there is no question about it, its safer and there is no question about whether you need to take this branch or that. and like one of the other guys said zero set up time.

Although i think your likely to look a bit *****. sound like Connick have the right idea although not sure that their vehicle is a financially viable in comparison to the fun bus approach.

Still i think it's something that professional companies are apprehensive to adopt as a soloution as its a bit, well camp.

Mate of mine cut through a powerline whilst working on one of these.

Luckily he was unharmed. Apparently he was a poor conductor.

Boom boom!

you should be ashamed of yourself with a joke like that :lol:

How long did it take for you to think that one up mark ?:sneaky2::001_tt2:

Can someone please confirm the current legal pruning measurements from the "A/B" road surfaces? Height from ground and back from the curb edge. I heard it was 6M High and 1M to each side.

Derbyshire is shocking in a lack of sign clearance/verge maintenance. If we have as much snow as last wintertime the roads will be blocked.

Hi chap

we used t o do it every year in southend, as judge said take the seats out and clip in, to start with we used to stack all the rubbish on the top deck, but at the end had a truck n chipper follpow us. we still put a lot of the stuff on the top dec but they aided as a trafic control lot.

whe had 2 poles at the front to simulate a full size bus, and cut any thing that got close to hitting it.

im sure a quick google would show up buses to hire that are open top, but will it show up ones that will hire it for tee cuting.

My local council specifies the following dimensions:

5.5m high from the road edge nearest the kerb

0.5m in from the road edge nearest the kerp

For pavements it is 2.4m from the height of the path for the whole width of the path.
