The snitcher retails for around £100

It gives me total peace of mind now, I got fed up of wondering whether or not the containers were still in one peice everytime I went to the yard.

Now there's no worry, if they are touched, I will know

Quite tempted by this myself. Is there an annual subscription fee or do you just need to buy the unit?

This is what I have on my containers, it works a treat.

The Snitcher - Track Your Bike Guard

All you need is a car battery and an electrical key switch to turn it on and off, car battery last 6 months without charge

If someone touches my containers, I know within 10 seconds and can and have been down there within 2 minutes. Very funny to see their faces when caught red handed

You will find it is the same group targeting you, since I caught them and faced up to them I have been trouble free. They used to trash my container locks 5 times a year

At first I thought this was going to turn into yet another gyppo bashing thread but Lo and behold it has turned up something really useful.

I love the idea that you can catch them in the act. I am going to get one of those.

Did you buy local? I prefer that but if not they are on ebay for £100.00

I bought it from a biker store on ebay

It has a pay as you go sim card in it, £10 lasts forever :001_smile:

All you need is very basic electrical knowledge and some sort of "trigger" I used micro or limit switches, you could use magnetic switches or anything.

If you need Andy you can look at mine setup :thumbup1:

That snitcher looks really good. Would it be possible to fit one onto my Ifor tipper trailer which has a battery on it for tipping. How would it know if the trailer has been moved without my permission?

Just put snitcher text alarm in google or ebay and it will bring up the price

I think they have a movement sensor inside, but they also have an external trigger wire.

In other words a spare wire you can attach any trigger, a switch, pressure pad, micro switch or anything

I am concerned to see the amount of decent folks on the forum who seem to have trouble with thefts of tools so spoke to the local Police this afternoon.

All areas should have a business crime prevention person who will visit for free and advise on issues. (Some areas also have grants:thumbup1:)

Look at Datatag of all items including chainsaws/Smart Grease/Covert CCTV/Steel bollards in drive entrances.

I am going to use the latest idea as a large amount of plant goes abroad to eastern europe including Land Rovers I am told.
