We need more regulation

I was dismantleing a pole yesterday and the client came out with teas.

Not wanting to come down and then go back up, one of my groundies put the ladder up and passed it up to me.

Does everyone agree that we need a 'Heights and Hot Beverages Act'.

There must be others that have slipped through the H&S net.

it always bloody happens. best thing to do is get the customer to microwave the cold tea for a minute when you get down.

every helmet should have a heat proof brolly attachment for such occasions!

You should train your staff and clients to bring out the tea at the right time.

Hi there with a little planning Tea is never a problem when working up on ropes put a carabina on a Thermos mug or any other cup with secure lid and handles make sure the groundy has the mug at the ready for when the customer offers the tea then when it all done just attach the mug onto the rope and up she comes job done.

Yrs ago one night there was a car crash in the village - police, ambulance & fireman with cutting equip when through the masses of flashing blue lights walked 'a little old lady' with a tray of tea & biscuits.
