MS441 vs. 372XP

Any recommendations or preference?!

Not used the huskey but know people who have and its all good,but the 441 in my opinion revs to hard and runs very hot during the hot spell i used a 441,it got so hot it was igniting saw dust,its not a bad saw but i think it would self destruct in a short time,it just revs so hard if your looking at a big Stihl just get a 660,one size fits all lovely saw great balance and longevity,and Jonesies got them at a good price.

preference is personal... try before you buy if you can, at least have a feel of both of them.

Just bought a 372 and love it mate don't like the 441 but it's just my opinion seen a lot of

broken ones around

i had a 441 and then tried a mates 372 and found the 372 had more grunt so i bought one.

both good saws i,d be happy using any of them,

372 is great saw, used to run mine with 15" bar and 8 tooth sprocket is softwood and it flew.

 

441 is the first stihl to nearly tempt me away from husky so I'd say it's down to personal preference.

Would love to have a go of that chris bet it cut well, it is down to preference like I said I just don't like the 441 but I know a lot of people will, I have a 440 think they are a good saw I also know of a lt of people prefer the 460 to the 441
