just reading that, i wondered why the stop/bar button wasnt pressed, then realised after the initial end of the rope had gone in would it of wrapped round the flywheel, which wouldnt of stopped rotating?anyone had a rope go through, what happens?

 

Yep I have, well witnessed one anyway.

 

Stopping the rollers wouldnt have done a thing once the flywheel has hold of it, well in our case the rope was getting wrapped around the flywheel shaft which eventually clogged up and stopped it dead.

 

Horrible way to go that:thumbdown:
