we like making as much noise as poss too, when the neighbours kids started yelling because chipper was ticking over after a bladechange i turned it up full rpm for 20mins haha, we had a vicar come out screaming when logging up for 4hrs with ms460.. he was soo mad, all red in the face.:thumbup::thumbup:

Jon - we're still chasing the engine manufacturer about a silent pack - will let you know how we come on as soon as I know anything. :thumbup1:

Can't tell you how I appreciate anything you've got on this; I'm loosing sales fast at the moment due to being restricted to fridays only operation at the yard.

A mate of mine is making up an exhaust for me after Franklin Silencers reckoned they could not help - they took noise readings and suggested the subsonic bass produced at full load (splitting head on return stroke) was not exhaust noise. Still, going to try anything to get back on it...
