Nice! Round over those hinge pins though. Some log thieving gits lifted my gate off it's hinges last week.

 

shoulda put your gate on properly, everybody knows one hinge goes up and one goes down.

I'm going to enquire Simon and see what the score is, hopefully get someone out and run them through what it's going to be used for etc

 

Depending what its previous use is, you will require planning for change of use and if your storing chip you may need to sort correct drainage (I think its anything over 50tonne)

 

Environment agency should help with info too

I tried that, its cost me a bloody fortune fighting the planners for consent.

 

Up to you mate, only 10 years of looking over your shoulder until you can get the rights for change the use!

I dont think it's been used for anything in the past Simon and is classed as woodland same as my previous yard which is over the other side of the track I took the photo from BTW. It is the same woodland essentailly, so you could say I've already been there for 7 years.

Your lucky to have the luxury of twelve months to sort that Dean. I need to get the barn extended, land leveled and stoned and logs moved onto my designated `log venture` patch before the mud sets in.
