People are stupid end of

last Thrusday closed a road off, cones, signs, the works, old bloke carefully drives round said cones which are slap bang in the middle of the road.

Tapped on window

"Excuse me, theres a reason this roads been closed (pointing to remains of tree and large pile of logs),hence the signs and cones in the road" said i.

"WHAT SIGNS AND CONES?!" was his reply

you cannot win:001_rolleyes:

best 1 i had was a complete road closure and a few boy racers/ wannabes moved the signs etc and tried using the closed section of road as a race track, when asked to leave because there would be trees coming down shortly i was told to f@*k off before they killed me and set fire to my van and chipper.

i did the natural thing on this occasion........ called the police. they got the kiddies moving and then i dropped a couple of nice sized tree either end of the closure, just behind the signs, no saxo's getting passed them:001_tt2::001_tt2:

lol love it. Monkey Boys learn to spell for God's sake. Best one I had was by foot path taped of area, about 10 signs and half way through cutting hung up trees and old boy wanders up to me taps me on the shoulder and tells me how he used to be a farmer....a didnt know what to say.

Never mind the timber, good job he didn't run into the mog. When I worked for Asplundh carrying out line clearance using an EPV we had heaps of people trying to ignore the stop go signs or walking through the taped off area. A small chunk of wood thrown from the bucket usually sorted out the problem. Never actaully hit anyone but certainly gave a few the hurry up.

We had a 2 day closer on an A road, to remove a large Beech, over night some muppet thought he would ignore the barriers, drove on the grass verge round them, then ran into the timber in the road :confused1:

Pic 2:scared1: Is that how you left it over night with your saw stuck?

I hope you had a bit of fun dragging his car away with the mog:thumbup:

Also hope he wasnt injured.:blushing:
