I found 2 of these beast's today in the same garden , just over 5" that's a 50 p next to it..I would hate to see it's mother!!!!!!!

We share the house with the little barstewards. At times of the year they are numerous in the downstairs.....I havent trodden on one.....YET! I have always lived in really old properties, and as a kid I grew up with slugs in the house. My sister trod on a huge orange one in barefeet once in the kitchen....aaaarrrggghhhh:thumbdown:

I have a couple of eels and a couple of perch in my pond. Strangely the eels hate slugs and the perch love them. They might struggle with that one though - it is a bloody monster!

Chickens love these in my garden - haven't seen any since they arrived to devour ALL pests known to the horticultural experts..........oh and the wifes flower bed and my veg plot! I keep writing stuffing on the shopping list but the cupboard is bare!!!
