Here's a couple of pic's of a pine I knocked over using a split level back cut, and a helping hand from a felling lever. About 40ft tall and 12inch across :001_cool:

No more pics. Yep should of bin dog toothed, but more of a case of the guy pulling getting told to drive off too soon!! Of about 30 that I felled on that stretch that's the only one that really went wrong.

Don't think I've got any more pics, railway butchery at it's best!!

Im a big fan of that cut, Although i hardly ever use it, Always forget about that one!!

Not a real big fan of hinges that pull fibres like that as it reminds me of my felling days (being told what not to do!), but there is something very fascinating about that second pic. I like it:thumbup:
