Thats not an "emergency rescue" the guy could have waited while a climber was brought to site from else where, so no real need to have a rescue climber on site:sneaky2:

 

Good point.

Either way it demonstrates how easy it is to understand why the aerial rescue requirement is seen as such an ass.:001_smile:

i was just looking at my new NPTC UA card and quite clearly it states that my certs are only valid for three years !!! so in 3 years time i assume i will be spending another £1500 on training that i have already done .

 

Where does it say it CTS?? I cant find it on mine mate.

 

Is it a new thing on new cards, I did my UA stuff in 2006
