Hi, what would you pay for a 2004 machine with around 1600 hours on the clock? Comes with a full service 2 sets of blades and a paint touch up.

Please don't let this turn into a mines better than yours thread!:001_tt2:

I would be interested to hear your views if you have one.

A six year old, 6" machine for 8k. Blimey - walk this way Sir, have I a bargain for you!

What's the bargain?

i would be looking to pay no more than 5 an a half - 6k at the verry most but it would have to be imaculate for that kind of money. imo a paint job counts for verry little , i would much rather that the machine has had a blooby good service . what are you going to be putting it behind ??

My Sprinter, The chipper has had full regular service's one owner from new.

If its A1 then pretty much pay the asking price. They are up there with the best of them (bandit and vermeer), and VERY good quality, so expect to pay a premium. Its like Skyhuck said.

You get what you pay for.:001_smile:

within reason , you do get what you pay for but i do feel that the price of second hand kit can be a little on the silly side at times , lets face it the chipper is second hand and done 1600 hours and been well serviced but never the less the best of its days are behind it .
