Lurrrrrrrrrrrrve my ropeguide. Have used a positioner, but moved on to a cinch.

What are you looking at in particular?

Actually wasnt thinking of the ropeguide; more spiderjack or similar. However, there appears to be an overwhelling vote for ropeguide out there.

Many thanks for all the opinions

If its a normal rope side strop (ie, not wire core) you won't need a soft link as you'll be able to cut the rope anywhere.

Do you use a cuttable link in that chain; in case you are disabled and need to be rescued?

cheers PB

If using on a metal strop instead of a swivel try the dmm quickdraw with the rubber insert in

i swapped the connector for 1 and love it:thumbup:

If you bought a spiderjack, you would then immediatly need the ropeguide in order to get the most out of the spiderjack.

So, get the ropeguide first, its great with any hitch set up( although soem are better than others and prussik is probably the worst) then spiderjack later if you wanted.

A spiderjack on its own would be a waste of money IMO.
