Works everytime mate especially them ones that ring because "you have personally been selected for a new phone" I just say wey aye il have it but haven't really got an address I'm a gypsy il tell you where the camp is. They do some stuttering haha

we had one last christmas from the 'police' doing a drink drive awareness booklet

(why a tree surgeon would want to advertise in it is anyones guess ??)

 

I also had this call from a with held number this week except he claimed he was calling from the local fire station and was a fireman himself regarding a drink driving leaflet.

 

Then I was called by BCS Media (in Manchester I think) to confirm the ad. When I asked who the hell they were. She asked if it make a difference if they aren't the local fire station! So I hung up.

Ha ha, they're at it again. That phone call made my day in fact. I think they're coming up for a fight...

Ha ha as an update, they been sending me letters from debt collectors, I told the debt collector to take me to court. I still not herd naught.

Seem to be getting alot of calls from foresters fund for children same sort of scam. I'm more wise this time.

what you don't offer to pay in cash? then you can meet them face to face, or rather boot to face..

Another trick is they ring up to thank you for your support last year and would you like to proceed again.

 

Had a with held no the other woman asked could she speak to the person in charge of health and safety I replied " not at the moment hes just had an accident " She rang off so politely it had me worried in case it was one of our large contracts. Think they had the last laugh on that one

We had one recently saying it was the council they are sick of rougue traders and because we are LA approved they want us in the booklet making out all the councils in the north east would only use us haha

the police ones rang me today, read this thread last week so knew straight away, nice one!

had the ones that cover schools and colleges call today,i told them to call back tomorow, i know where im working tomorow there is absolutely no signal at all, what a shame.
