stein helmet

hi guys got one of them stien helmets today wat u lot think of them

i love my one, did you got a smoke visor for it?

Cant make my mind up on them. I have had mine for about a year now with the smoked visor, and TBH i have to say i think i prefer my Petzl for climbing. I find the stein a bit hot, and the biggest downside is the fact that the visor has become scratched (second visor- first fell apart) where it slides up and down. Its a very comfy lid though.

Ive had mine ages, I cant get on with it at all, If i were getting a climbing lid id go for the Petzl, The stein is just a spare behind the seat now, Just incase i forget my other lid and then i curse myself twice over, Once for forgetting my good lid and once for the fact i have to wear the bleeding stein crap one all day

probably the reason i love it, is because i have never tried anything different. Might try the petzl helmet

There are a lot of different Stein lids, which did you get?

 

All is not lost, anyway. They are certainly a lot more comfy than a lot out there.

i have 2 new ones that dont get used, too warm and the ear muffs are a pest. Petzl al the way for me.

Too hot but comfortable. Taking the mesh out has helped. Visor fixings also corroded in (dis-similar metals)
