  3. Extra bhp is great but when you use it to be able to carry the extra wehight of chip and chipper it is putting the axle and transmisition under alot more strain !

  7. Hi dr green , I use one with 11mm and 13mm rope and yes the 13mm does run and self tend ok But obviously not as good as the 11mm but find that the 13 mm isn't as jurkey ! Stick with it I use it all the time now and love it
  8. Iv got the herald hunter 8 and dont rate it very highly at all ! A friend has bought a stove of eBay for £ 350 and it's just as good - bad ! I will be replacing it for a clearview before next winter .

  14. I found my airstreams very comfortable out of the box but they fell apart after 8 months ! Sorry to be so negative .

  16. Thanks for all the replys so far ! The tables are for inside and it's only the tops that need planking , rob I'm not sure about the different species but I will find out tomorrow and get back to you as I will to the other members offers .
  17. Skyhuck , I don't have suitable timber of any volume . The tables are for inside use so moisture will be an issue ! However iv just spoken to the carpenter and he will consider green or seasoned round or milled so if anyones got anything either pm me call 07971594788 .
  18. Is anyone able to supply milled timber to plank out about 50 pub sized tables ! Not really bothered about what timber it is but price will be a key factor . The timber is for a carpenter friend of mine who has the job of replacing the table tops , so any help or advice on best timber and prices would be great .

  20. Iv just changed to the art positioner and I love it ! Never tried the cinch so I can't compare
  21. Gransfors bruks are hand made in sweden , they make lots of different types of axe including a small splitting axe ! But I'm using the small forest axe ( bushcraft axe ) for splitting kindling and I think it's the Mutts nuts
  22. Hi joey , I use carbon geckos and love them they are very comfortable and light ! They don't really compare to bucks or bashlins . But like skyhuck said there not adjustable for length so make sure your happy with the fit before you buy .
