Utter Rubbish mate.

My sister had VW Beetles when I was a kid.Dad called them "Hitlers Revenge on the World".Dad always seemed to be fixing them.

When my sister moved abroad,we stripped the last one she had.Took it to a mates farm and Riddled it with gunfire.:001_smile:

Andy i've owned and restored two, each one left a pile of rust on the road wherever it stopped and I was very good friends with the hard shoulder, the engines are dire, consumption/emmissions don't ask!!!

they're very basic and very out of date, I could go on. People are in love with the symbolism of the old vdubs, there aint no love once you own one.

If it's tidy it'll cost you a bomb, if it's old it'll cost you a bomb.

DON'T DO IT.:scared1:

i must admit they look really cool, my dad had a couple when i was a kid. Slow and damp but as kids we loved it. My mate has a cracking double cab pick up Andy or i could just sell you my shiny T5 Kombi and you could throw a bed, basin and bog in it. Classed as a comercial and claim through the business lol
