Driving home in the landy today I was over taken on a blind bend by a chevy left hand drive people carrier type motor.

Thought nothing of it but noticed he was driving extremely aggressively and intimidating cars infront of him driving 6ft off their bumpers at 40 mph.

Cars were pulling out of his way to let him past. I ended up behind him again when all of a sudden he yanked on the brakes, no indication and slewed across the road, reversed a little then pulled into an engineering firm.

I had to take avoiding action and slam on. No problem but I wound my window down and told him he needs to learn how to drive and stop driving like a tosser. He then told me to f off and proceeded to take a photo of the back of my motor and the sign writing.

I calmly grabbed my business cards and told him there was no need to take a photo, here's my card and if he ever needed any tree work doing give me a ring.

He was walking away from me so I tapped him on the shoulder with the card and said here you go mate.

He then turned round and chinned me with a right hook. I just stood there and laughed at him and said that wasn't very freindly.

He then called 999 and told them I was assaulting him

Three cop cars and a black marya later I was being interveiwed by police.

I told them what happened and told them I called him a tosser ect and they reveiwed cctv which he had on the building which backed up my story but the actual assault was just out of frame

I just said, you can see me walking over with the business card box in one hand and business card in the other, hard to grab someone with business cards in your hand.

The bloke wanted me to apologise for assaulting "him"

After one hour of this bloke getting on the cops nipples they said I could go, he was obviously a nut but at that time the guy was on his phone to his solicitor because he wasn't getting what he wanted and he wanted me prosecuted :001_smile:

What a funny end to the day :001_rolleyes:

There are some nuts about, next time I'll drive on, turned out the bloke was 70 :scared:

He looked about 58-60

and there is nothing more fustrating to a guy like that than being laughed at cos he hits like a girl!

This. well done for not reacticing.

Had an incident similar in one of my locals was sipping my pint and mates had gone for a kebab or something and got talking to this older gentleman who turned out me and my boss priced a job for him a week back. got chatting. he then said have I got a bird to which I replied no im I just like to have fun etc etc to which he bellowed and made a busy pub quiet and said that young uns had no respect I agreed with him saying we dont to which he said right thats it outside now.

No lie this bloke was talking about his 70th birthday next week i had images of me pushing this bloke away him falling nastily and me being done on a manslaughter so i just sat down a few feet away and laughed myself silly.

he soon shut up.
