hicap and 10x6 ifor for me, had a fun delivery few weeks ago(1 load carried into cellar), could park close to house so i thought i was onto a winner, carried the whole load in large washingbasket size buckets up house steps, along passageway, down spiral staircase, through two doorways and into woodstore next to fire. got a good tip though, and the guy ordered another load when he saw the firewood.. yay

I`ve been at the Yorkshire Show today looking at that option but then I will still need a vehicle to tow it as the orange transit van has the wrong image and the BMW 335 sport would struggle in the wet :biggrin:

 

If it was me I would go for tipping hilux ( especially for the mud and snow we had last year ) and a wheels outside low normal trailer with ramps for barrow bags. That way you can do both deliveries in a round robin. I think the ramps may be a bit high on a tipping trailer. If you try the tailift idea get a cheap one second hand if it does not pan out you can sell it for a profit.
