Thanks AD15, but I took the photo myself when doing some wall repairs for a farmer friend and I bought the Freelander from my friends sister when she came to the end of her 2 year contract with Land Rover.

By the way, what does lol stand for? I've worked out imo stands for "in my opinion" (although in my old job it was interntional money order!)

Smart looking Defender Adam. The more Land Rovers I see on here, the more I want another. After a few series motors and then four 90s I changed to a Freelander 2 years ago which is a lovely motor (apart from the fact its in the garage at the minute having a new fuel sensor and wiring harness fitted after conking out on Friday - I'll be best part of £500 lighter by Wednesday night!!!"@@@***!!!!) but just isn't a Defender. As I am setting up a firewood business I am hankering after a hi cap.

thanks mate, has done me proud so far.

my new ride awaiting sighn writing only finished sides on sat......i like landys but cant seem to make them last more than a month before i destroy the diffs and gear box!!! rather get a cheap old school l200 for the winter needs although i am thinking about a series 3 if i can find a decnt one.

smart looking tranny! what have you used for the greedy boards? i have got a similar ally back and have priced up ally planking to build it up, but it seems a bit expensive for what it is.

mine is going into the bodyshop in two weeks time so need to get the back sorted. going for a slightly brighter green than yours. it looks too much like a gyppo wagon at the moment!
