I’m absolutely gutted that I will have to miss this, it’s the same weekend I’m in Ireland and I just wont get back in time.

I do hope there will be another one soon.

Would love a northen foray. Ther is a 2,000 year caledonian forest I know that we could probably use, its north of Inverness though - so that might be a bit far up! I think Borders/Lakes/Northumberland area would be good.

Sorry, I'll try not to show you up with that glorious piece of British engineering of mine. Presuming yours makes it there, that is...

I'm looking forward to a day with the two AT fungi meisters . It should be very educational.

Is 9am too early? shall we say 10 am in cassiobury car park?

For all that missed this chance and want to do this-

I am always visiting ancient woodlands, windsor, epping, Burnham beeches, Whipendell, and will be adding richmond park to the list soon!

If you live nearby, and want to walk and talk very fast, get grubby, wet and probably more knackered than on a days graft then just drop me a line and I will meet up with you for a chat about boring old trees and fungi!
