Anyone business bank with HSBC?

Internet banking is good with HSBC, and they clear cheques in 3 days MOST of the time.

They won't give you an overdraft for a year, though, and if you want to talk to a human being about any problems it is impossible over the phone.

Proximity to branch is why I went with them, and TBH most of my gripes are because I never have enough money in my account!

If a bank told me I had to have an account for a year before they would let me have an overdraft id tell them to sod off.

I've been with HSBC for ten years, think they're much like any other bank really, typical love/hate relationship, hate Indian call centre, personal banking with natwest just changed it to santander, tbh think they all shaft you:thumbdown:

Basically banks never help you when you need it most:banghead:

Just my opinion of course

Yep, you've got it. Got offered free business banking if I can get my turnover above 1 million:laugh1: a holes(sorry had to say it)

I get letters telling me what interest rate they will give me if I have over a million in the account for any period of time.

Think they are taking the Mick:lol:

I am currently switching business account to the Co-operative. As nobody is paying any interest I thought being a member of the co-op will give me some benefits ( you become a partner and recieve a yearly dividend) , plus they are a very ethical bank with a very stable reputation.

i have been with barclays for 8 years, they work for me. the online banking is second to none as is security. i looked at moving last year but decided against it. i did however have a problem when i wanted to borrow 5 grand, they told me i should borrow more to pay off my overdraft?? they said i shouldnt be using my overdraught as much as i do.
