Thing is you only know its doggy because your in the business. Public looking at that may think thats what they need doing to their tree.

 

And to a large extent we give them what they want, but part of our role is also to try to educate and explain acceptable and unnaceptable/unhealthy practice, but those damned leaves they get do everywhere so they do:biggrin:

I wouldn't put that on mine like either mate a bit of gentle criticism might of resulted in a reply from the lad in the start wonder if he does?

 

I doubt it but I hope he does.

I reckon the guys got the right idea. how many times have you argued the toss with a customer about what they want and what is best for the tree. Maybe he has thought I will advertise what he vast majority of people see as ok and I will get loadsa work. Probably hasn't posted back as he is too busy in a special swimming pool made out of £2 coins. Supply and demand people. Give the masses what they want.

Wow, I get a response on this thread. Seriously, my comments on your willow thread were nothing more than constructive criticism. I know I come across as a 'know it all', but what can I say:001_tt2:

 

When I got a response that may have come from a 12 year old by text message, I tend to take the intellectual 'high ground'
