Way to revvy in my opinion longevity could be an issue better off going straight for a 660,much better saw,but thats just my opinion.

I had one for a year and a half and had no problems with it.

 

And the way it sucks air through means the air filter stays clear for a long time compared to other stihl saws. I'd buy another but as above if there was a choice I'd get the 660

i run a 441 great saw first one i pick up i really like usin it good arounder with a 20 inch bar

The 441C/M is about £50 more expensive than a regular 441, and to me it looks like the only difference is the fancy on board computer with a self-tuning carburettor and ignition timing.

 

It constantly adjusts the fuel/air mix depending on your altitude, outside temperature, air filter cleanliness, whether the engine is hot or cold (means no choke lever I believe, just an on/off switch)

 

Sounds really good, but I think as far as chainsaws are concerned it's just another thing to go wrong.

that sounds intressing mite have u look that up ent got one off them iv got the old 441 then that works good enough

I'd wait a couple of years and let Stihl sort out the inevitable teething troubles at other peoples expense.
