Nice video , Does anyone know of any books or magazines that have old redwood felling pictures in them ? The ones with the fellers themselves in them standing by the trees, tried looking on the net but cant find much.

Hi Smith77, you might want to have a look at 'High Climbers and Timber Fallers,' by Gerald Beranek. Its got some great stories and photos of old growth Redwood felling.

when i was travelling round california a couple of years ago we used library for internet connection etc, there was some amazing books on the old logging, i hadn't realised how large scale the felling was.. there are still 'old growth' stumps everywhere
