I felt it was a little quiter on the Friday and busyer on the Saturday, compared to last year.

I'm actually quite interested & plan to ask Capel if they have comparative figures.

I remember going to the first Celebration of trees all those years ago. It seems to be quite busy one year and quiter the next. I thought there was a lot less for all the non industry bods this year.

I think last year was the first year they had a specific entrance fee, this may have had a bearing on attendance.

Really suprised Tree Source were not there. :confused1:

& agree there appeared to be less interest for general public & no tree growers/suppliers.

Never been to anything like it before, only made it up for the Saturday, but I was really impressed. Plenty to see and do, Got some good info from both ISA and AA. Couple of little purchases nothing too extravagent. Was great to see a CS100 in the metal and am looking forward to a demo soon.

Really worthwhile for me.

The 50 mph limit along what seemed like most of the M4 was a definite drag though.

Hope to get another one in later in the year.

my only moan was the entrance situation. Drive and park right by the main entrance and then have to walk all the way around through the college and gardens just to have to walk back down by the car park and through the gate where we drove in, and then ticka taping off the style and gate on the way to the toilet. it was just bizaerre imo, if they were worried about security then why have 2, 12 year olds on the gate?
