Just looking at Rapidlee's thread on his massive yew and it got me thinking......doesn't happen that often!!

So what's the oldest tree you've had the pleasure of climbing??

I'll start off, about 10 years ago I climbed a yew in a church yard in Hampshire that was documented at 560 years old. I bet there's a few of you out there that can beat that?

worked on a beech in a graveyard and church grounds that dated back to the 11th century. Not sure the age of the beech but there is a Yew in there that is around 1000 years old. Huge trunk.
