Nice one Matt. Where was that then? Local?

 

You see that high lift ali wedge with the beech insert.....if you put a second ring round the wooden bit it will stop it splaying out like that....unless you already have and yours is just really old..

Gibbon I dont think I'd have bothered getting hitching a ride up that tree as it looked like nothing of a job to climb up there; just what came to mind when I watched the vid. Apart form that, your slinging, pre-loading and cutting looked very good indeed. You have done this job before aye!
