mobile phone advice

Anyone recomend a durable mobile phone that can take the bashes and constant dusty environment of tree surgery? I've had too many over the years with few lasting more than half a year, from Samsung, Nokia, Sony Ericcson. I used a Samsung D500 for ages as could buy them for about £10 off eBay when they died but after 5 of them it might be time to change.

Any recomendations?

Live without one.

Any employer would think you were the best worker ever.

:001_tongue:

(Iphone, screenguard, decent rubber cover, and kept in a dog-s*** back if you must have it in your pocket all the time).

Any phone will not last if you don't protect it at work, and carrying a rubberised brick round basically says 'look - I'm incapable of looking after expensive equipment'.

i dont see the point of taking an all singing all dancing phone to your work:confused1:

Surly all it needs to do is accept/make calls and texts, why would you need to know how to play the piano or find a knitting pattern at your work:lol:

i use a samsung one dont even know the model and have it in a case, job done.

My old Sony Ericsson W595 has managed a years tree surgery easily, its a pretty tough phone. Just upgraded to the w995 and I'm pretty sure I'll end up using the W595 before it year and a half is up. The tough phones seem over priced and under spec'd imo. Get a case and a packet of screen protectors whatever phone you go for :thumbup1:
