  1. We picked our cabstar because it had the biggest payload with the smallest footprint.
  2. Cats savage birds, wouldn't want them round the kids either.
  3. Jeez if a cat had the remote chance of hurting my little girl in any way it would be compost...
  4. Germany has it nailed then imo. Once off your property it's not under control and vermin.
  5. Lol I'm no big man, nor keyboard warrior, just an honest response, I'd kill a cat as easily as killing the rats we had last year, both pests in my eyes. My problems not with an animal doing what's in its nature, it's owners letting them destroy endangered wildlife.
  6. Our native wolves were eradicated for killing livestock, I really don't understand how cats are allowed to roam free, killing our native wildlife. By all means keep cats, but they shouldn't be allowed to roam free. People need to be responsible for their pets. I would happily end a cat if it was killing birds on my property.
  7. Does anyone know a chipper mechanic in or near poole, who can fit a new Honda engine to a Timberwolf 125? I have the engine and a new exhaust, just need it mounting and wiring up without breaking the bank!
  8. You can always buy my husky sg13 for £2200, I'll even deliver it and throw in the trailer. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. I can do about 10 at a time, so that's 15 sets of 10 per day... Ouch! Can't imagine being able to manage it. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. No worries, although I travelled 6hrs to pick up my subaru ;-) decent motors are worth travelling for! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app

  12. We are selling our 2007 cabstar with half finishes chip box. It has an ally frame, ply sides, just needs a small roof mounting and some foamex boards fixed to make it perfect. The truck it's self has done less than 40k miles, I'm very good condition, but could do with 4 tyres. Looking for £7500. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. You too hey mate! Sorry to hear about the appendix! That's a nasty one. Let us know what you start up next. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Swerve the 4mix! Horribly unreliable from experience. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Stihl heads are easily the best, but the 4 mix engines are horrible. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Well after our honda engine let go in a rather dramatic way (caught fire), I'm halfway through fitting a new, later spec engine. We've just had the exhaust modified to fit the new engine and the mounting holes need slotting so it sits back a bit further to line up with the belts. I'm just coming to the wiring (some is melted), there is a heat sink bolted to the underside of the chipper, with several wires going to it, which isn't shown in the wiring diagram, anyone know what it is? I haven't got round to removing it yet. I did ask Timberwolf a few questions, but they just wanted me to take it to a main dealer I'll pop a couple of pics up when I'm at the pc.
  17. I wish I hadn't of wasted time and money on the 4mix. Might flog them both and replace them with the 2mix.
  18. Thanks for the quick reply. Can I get the full part number for the engine? I'd rather buy it from my local dealer if possible.
  19. Hi, Our 2001 125 has just caught fire, the bottom end went, punched a hole through the crankcase and sprayed oil all over the exhaust! Always the way, it dumped burnt oil all over the driveway of a ££££ house. Anyway, it has been used hard so I'm not surprised it let go, just a shame it was so dramatic! Is the GX630 a direct fit for the GX620? I also have some wiring to replace, the drive belt for the hydraulics and the strain/speed sensor + wiring.
  20. I knew there was another reason I needed a lsd for the cabstar! Better still someone get down santa pod and post up a time in their arb truck If I still had my chipped ranger I'd have a go. Can't do a 4wd burnout with my subaru
  21. 5 years using my g shock, bomb proof!
  22. I'll stick with my subaru legacy. Loadsa fun, 4wd, get all my saws in the back and run it on 20% methanol for added oomph
  23. My garter gave birth, they looked like little worms with big heads. Kinda miss having them around now, and shame the missis won't tolerate them!
  24. One of my favourite childhood memories was tramping down my nans garden to hunt for slow worms under the old radiator, one day I picked up the radiator and saw a dirty gurt adder under it. Ran all the way back :-) since then I've had two snakes as pets. I'd love a nice wildlife plot, I have to settle with attracting birds in my little plot.
  25. We do a few little lawns to fill in the gaps, they seem to pay and are always grateful. It's a nice change from being screwed down on price, busting your balls reducing conifer hedges etc.
