we were using quite short 13mm line for awhile, then the company owner went out and built this huge 70m 20mm line. we all hate it, complete overkill. we reckon he got it off some barge ship

 

LOL it took a big tractor and some BIG connie stumps to snap our 20mm bull rope! made the tractor bounce a bit too!

 

I like the thinner white and green flecked bull ropes, perfect for most jobs at 4500kg,

thats proof enough for me that 20mm is a bit excessive up the tree, unless i was lowering tractors

I use this from yale for general rigging use, 16 mm in a heavier situatio with log sections, the 19mm for heavey sections of big stems.

 

dont often get the big rope out!
