Anyone else had enough of it all? No longer is a user name and a 10 digit password good enough its now also verify by email, txt message or use an authenticator app!

OK it isnt the hardest thing in the world to do but its just another thing to suck some more time out of your life.

I was more or less talking about logging into my bank account but yeah, probably worth it for porn.

 

Although im not doing that age verification stuff so ive abstained from that for quite awhile.

Its just not worth the hassle at our age Joe. 

 

TBH I dont trust the VPN thing, I know what it does but like the age verification thing I just dont trust them. 

 

I would rather do without it tbh, 50 years of wank bank is good enough for me. : D

Thumbprint biometric sensors coupled with easily remembered numbers work for all my banking apps on my phone. It shouldn't be an inconvenience though. 

There is merit in 2 step verification when setting things up:

If someone hacks Morrisons and chores customer data they will have your billing address, card details, loyalty card details, so potentially DOB and phone number too. You get a phone call, answer it, say a few words then hey presto, They have your voice and personal details to play with.

I'm just old fashioned paranoid, but the bank is only a 10 minute run away - couple all my banking with being out and about at lunchtime, cannot hack that.

 

Though 2 factor identification is a pain in the butt, unless your sitting on your phone. Sometimes nice to put the thing down.
