Ohh very lucky!!

Did they have a pulling rope on it or did it have a very lob sided crown?

 

 

 

 

 

This is a barber chair :001_smile:

 

Bear in mind the scaffold plank is 10ft

 

If the Stem hadn't held on top I would have had a very good chance of dying

Well dodgy that, easy to do with ash too. I did it once, felling on a big site, I was fellin tree after tree while guys came up and cleared behind me. Wasn't paying attention and didn't look at the top properly as it was growing through some big roddies. Should have dog toothed it. Lesson learned, I can tell you they go with a bang, if you were standing behind it you'd be badly injured, even if it doesn't come off and land on you.:001_smile:
