I gave up on technical clothing a few years ago. Replaced it with occasionally suffering or more usually working less hard.

I find I often sweat far more and sooner in man made fabrics, (wicking or technical or whatever), than in wool or cotton. Regardless of outside temperature or how warm I feel. Don't even realise I've been sweating sometimes, until the stink at the end of the day. It's all about breathability.

Used the innovation 2 for at least 5 years and was happy with them. I tend to use pss trousers now as they seem to be more robust than other brands I’ve used over the years

So I'm after a pair of type C for climbing that are somewhat more durable and resistant to bramble. I do have a spare pair of Arborflex, but they are a mediam and I am a fatty, I need a large.

stihl x flex are type c with vent zips

fairly robust

arbotch have a couple of newer pairs with more robust outer covering but cant comment on wearability

I am using a pair of these currently, they are incredibly light. Think they tip the scales at just over 1kg.
