I think I read another post of a fellow here driving 4 or 5 hours for theirs from south/mid england up to scotland?

Just wondering what the different distance people have chosen are and are willing to travel.

I don't, and never would. I'd need to live on it. A lot of the enjoyment of your (my) own land comes after hours, wandering around in a dressing gown with a glass pipe.

Mick, see previous threads. He's planting a forest and incinerating rodents.

Crack pipe ? Weed pipe ?? Opium ?? I’m intrigued!

I know a lad in the village who bought a wood for camping in, didn’t go to it over lock down and when he finally got there it has been dug up and turned in to a mountain bike run.. unless it was on my door step I would not be interested tbh.

This ain't no wholesale operation, just a few eighths and some PlayStation's my vocation.

That's exactly it, I'd be terrified of what the place could look like if I couldn't at least take a stroll around it daily, who knows who could be abusing it.

It'd be different if it was just land you happened to own and weren't doing anything with, and had no intentions of doing anything with, but as soon as you start putting some effort into it... I'd have to be on it.

That's just me though.

Maybe, but I don't feel the need to wander around my own woodlands wearing my tighty whitey under crackers scaring the wildlife.
