Thin rigging rope

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I need to ask anway. Does anyone use rigging rope thinner than 12mm?

I've never seen it. I have a bit of 10mm static I use for a speedline once in a blue moon.

Like I said, fairly sure I know the answer but if five or ten people could chime in to confirm, I'd be very grateful.

Rescue rigging, we use 11.5mm. Knowing how quickly the kN build up, especially when the load bounces a bit, and even when shared across two identical systems, would make me worried about taking even moderately sized bits on a rope that size unless they had a guaranteed soft catch.

That said, I fully intend to add an 11.5mm rope for light bits one day.

10 mm English braids was my go too light rigging rope for years, I’ve gone back to 12mm as it’s bright orange .. it’s a bit heavier for negative rigging and isn’t like cheese wire.. although I do miss the 10 at times it wasn’t visible enough for special needs groundys.
