i take my terrier ratting, she isnt quite quick enough yet though. she has only caught a few so far. i think it would be better with another dog at the same time.

 

you always loose more than you catch,try using an old c/saw to smoke em out it makes em a bit dopey and not as quick, but you might have to dig em.

it gets messy with a few dogs all pulling at one rat. good for a laugh though!!!

 

best ratting day was 102 rats with 4 dogs on a pig farm we then went back at night and shot another 30 odd with the air rifles

Nice dogs! great pics everyone.

Meg the lab and the new addition, 8week old staffie i brought home last friday. She still needs a name, suggestions welcome.

Interesting about the ratting. i love terriers, apparently staffies were used a lot for ratting, could be fun ,loads living in the yard at the back of the garden.
