A couple of recycled dirty diesels is probably better than a few dozen E waste Isuzus

For now it probably is, but we are technologically adept, and we will most likely work out a way to make them safer in terms of decommissioning.

It's up to us to make sure things are done properly.

Maybe those children mining cobalt just fill the hole with old smoke alarms to shore up the roof instead of pit props.

Have you ever thought of designing comics for 2000AD?

Is that any worse than the kids mining sulphur to make fertilizer, lead acid batteries and tyres?

As soon as someone mentions EV's or batteries the cobalt mining pops up, fair enough that needs some mega changes but lets put it into some perspective eh and not gloss over what has been going on for years to keep the old world vehicles running.

Whats going on over there is bad, (pointy finger) really bad, you are all scum. While what is going on over here.....whistling emoji.

Would those 11,000 be wind turbines per chance. What happens when you run you car in the wrong gear for 99% of its life ?.

Or say 12-15 nuclear and no wind turbines, hum which would I prefer.

Remind me how many reactors France has and how much they export to your German rulers ?.

The tech side of it is above me Gareth

My limit is changing the phases or rotation on the mill. I do however have first hand on site knowledge of what is going on by whom and at who’s benefit from the offshore wind free for all cash cow. Green energy 😂the Apollo Spirit currently doing a roaring trade uses over 300tons a day of heavy fuel oil, it’s one of many vessels doing the heavy lifting worldwide and around our coast, not a single of of which is registered or crewed from the UK. The Chinese steel made from coal powered furnaces being  shipped halfway around the world certainly ain’t being brought here on sailing ships neither. As 42 says know your audience eh 🤷‍♂️deluded.

Yeap, it's all a massive game of smoke and mirrors, playing the pity card to shame/guilt trip into a green wasteland.

It's a bit like a security expert telling me I need reinforced steel doors, high security locks, biometric id and state of the art alarms and patrol dogs.

Then the dawning realisation it's a bloody portaloo!.
