Turn out your pockets, sonny Jim. This is an EDC thread.

Different day, another different Opinel. (Though not exactly an EDC).

This one is a thing of beauty, albeit vicious beauty. For special occasional culinary use only. I imagine it's great for very finely slicing French cured pork, for nibbling alongside an ice cold Pastis.

Does the memory mode in the blurb mean I can set it to high and have click, on, click, off forever?

Don't answer that. It was a moment of weakness. I want on and off and that's the ****************ing end of it.

I found some some software last night that you can use to programme the UI. That in itself made me angry. I just want a switch. This is how spinning jennies got smashed.

You nearly got lucky last night Alex. Feeling bad about you're predicament I hunted a torch of mine out, pocket size, on off, led bulb with easy focus for flood or beam, 2 AA battery power, would've been grand. Unfortunately I couldn't get one battery out due to the corrosion so I binned it instead, apologies.
