FFS thats something else thats come on a boat ?? this country will be so f- - - - d up before long , no Larch, no Ash and now a big threat to spruce,, all we will end up with will be all the crap timber we cant do owt with only firewood or chip it ,,,

There's some waffle about it on the firewood certificate thing, including the London Plane Lace Bug.

 

Weirdly zero links to Christmas trees imported, instead blaming wind blown source from Europe.

If anyone is interested ,  and you have access to Spruce, and the time every 2 weeks to collect samples. You can take part in the Ips survey.
