Ah lefty logic, or just keep voting until you give us the result we wish to hear ?.

Or just keep banging on about how bad the EU is till you get a vote.. and I suspect the same 'lefty logic' would have applied if we had voted to remain - see Sturgeon and Scottish independence as an example there

You're the one banging on how there are more pro EU people, therefore it should be listened to, but a mutually beneficial deal just hasn't been done has it!.

I make not bones about being pro Brexit, I'm on the EU fence as I'm somewhat ambivalent, it's a lovely hate relationship.

Before the 70s things worked perfectly well but when the blob and the EU just don't want to do anything, Switzerland works well enough when you all play nice.

Just looking at how things work, with the EU referendum and Scottish independence votes by way of comparison - if Farage, Johnson and so on had 'lost' the referendum do you think they would have quietly said "OK" and given up or do you think they would still be gong on about it? Likewise Sturgeon lost the independence vote and never gave up but kept pushing.

I don't think there will be a satisfactory and mutually beneficial deal without closer integration with Europe - simple things like we all find it hand to pop over to Europe in holiday without long pass port or ferry queues. The great benefits that we could stop the Belgians coming here to live and we could fish all the fish have never really been great benefits to be honest and at a greater cost and inconvenience to trade.. so to get any benefits I think we need to integrate with some of the systems and so on that they have. Assimilate if you like.

Whilst I understand your point, the SNP are pretty much a one policy party.

Just look at the recent, oh we've got to cut spending in Scotland. In the next breath blaming the English even though they get Barnet formula meaning a ton more than anyone south of the border and then we tax the high earners.

It's not difficult to have reciprocity, as I suggested Switzerland.

Granted they have all the gold, banks, chocolate and cuckoo clocks, so the world's your melted cheese oyster.

And I have dealt with the EU imports since 2008.

I looked for a relevant video, but there where no fat lady singing vids.

Would the Adele - Butterdance video work at all?

It's 4 minutes long, so settle in.

I’ll happily stand in the odd queue at an airport ( Schiphol is never an issue but CDG was and is a nightmare pre and post Brexit) if it means young people here can be trained up and get apprenticeships etc rather than the EU corporate labour supply agency delivering an ever changing supply of trained up, zero investment required labour.

Airports should run as normal, it’s the full checks at ports, imports/exports which may cause the delays.

A hard Border was was Brexit promised so no one should moan about it when it happens.
The current and previous governments never stopped handing out work visas for nurses/care workers or industry labour shortages, and I don’t think a handful of welding apprenticeships being created on Tyneside are going to be reopening the shipyards any time soon.
