While doing my Sunday hoovering I noticed the inside of my radiators were full of dust and fluff, so after working out how to get the top cover off with a screwdriver and a butter knife I got in about the fins!  OOFT no wonder my asthma plays up when heating comes on.  Turned into a satisfying job, 5 radiators down, 3 to go.  Then went and walked the dog.

Big day today of pottering, new power steering belt for the mog is due in today so I’ll plan on simply starting that but who knows where I’ll end up.  On Monday I went to put the bins out and ended up organising a new kitchen and 2 skylights.  I’ve to go to the other village to the post office so that’s bound to lead to a mini adventure.

Main pottering today , courtesy of a good mate, is a small weathered folding table base that needs a new top.

Luckily I made something a few years back that is just the ticket. 2 birds one stone. Happy mate and less clutter in garage.

Hardcore pottering! :-)

Putting my Jo-Beau M300 back together today, having collected the bits form Global Machinery at Newark yesterday. They seemed a decent bunch of people. Mowing lawns. Trying once more to fix the intercom unit back onto my Petzl helmet. Mended the bracket recently, then broke it on a branch climbing on Thursday. Going to just stick it on with car body filler. Pity really as the units were only about £45 a pop and they work really well. I think when this fails again time for the big spend on Protos units. Ouch!

Today I have to assess and take any action necessary on a wasp nest at my mother-in-law's new house, plant a few gooseberry bushes, grind the edge back on to a couple of neglected kitchen knives, hang a couple of pictures, and ideally do a bit of strimming... but annoyingly, I have to go and be social at an RNLI family barbecue right in the middle of peak productivity time.

How mobile is the m300? I'm looking at finally getting a wee chipper, the Jo Beau offerings seem to get heavier quickly with incremental grunt increases...
