They're the budget option for sure. I had a pair of their boots once, I think. Didn't last pissing time. They failed (leaked or broke) and were given or thrown away.

 

The spikes have held up fine thus far, only rarely used though. Needed modified from the start to make them useable for comfort.

 

The wire core lanyard was fine.

I found that every climb in a T22 was, in effect, a trial.

My first harness was a T22. I was a skinny little whippet back then that probably made it all the more uncomfortable. Coupled with muiltiplat it’s amazing I stuck the job out thinking about it. The youngsters these days have far too many luxuries 😀

Itd probably be way more comfy for you these days.
