Yup. A few marginal voices warned about this at the start  (Though the fallout thus far isn't remotely as bad as they predicted). I've stopped counting the incidents of vaxxed up aquaintences telling me they got Covid again, for the fourth and fifth time. I'm worried for them though, it's not normal. I haven't had so much as a bad cold since 2019, just the usual couple of days of winter sneezes and stuff.

Couple of guys I work with in the UK proper lost their shit over Covid and are still towing the line.. Both just turned 50 and in decent health, jabbed up to the nines, including the most recent booster. They are like Covid magnets,  they have each had it at least 5 times now and always run down with something or another, worrying for the long term.

If it's Africa they have pointed towards vitamin D deficiency which is due to lack of sunlight.

Obviously not a real concern in Africa, purely speculative as I spend far too much time outdoors and had COVID months before it kicked off.

Supposedly there's also a deficiency in places like Dubai due to staying inside as it's too hot.

Is it, all over Africa or just SA?

Not heard anything about this.

Seemingly so. Quite a bit has been written about the phenomenon:

Looks like a load of old bollocks to me, I wonder WHO funded it?

You could probably find out WHO funded it with little effort. ;)

Perhaps it is a load of old bollocks but it seems that the same outcomes from COVID appear to be occurring in both the vaccinated and those who are unvaccinated.

In not convinced about that at all, or your 1 in 20 who have had Covid will develop long covid. Pretty much everyone I know has had covid at some point, some several times, not a single one has claimed to have developed long covid though.

I hope that you're right. It looks like repeated exposure to COVID messes with immune systems with long-term effects, I might just be reading the wrong stuff though.

I'm glad everyone you know is doing well.
