Found this for sale, just passed MOT...

Not much left holding the body together or even attaching it to the chassis of the truck, and it's just passed an MOT :dong:

It looks like damage from water and salt thrown off the wheels.  A good welder could fix that! And the repair could be as strong and pretty as the original.  I'd disassemble the ram and lift off the trailer first.

 

It would be a fairly long job mind you, so I'd want to know that the rest of the vehicle was in good condition. and cheap

The tester I've spoke to in the past said the bed has to be secured properly, so heavy corrosion to the mountings would be a fail. On the gumtree truck one of the mountings has totally disappeared, the other isn't far behind. Mine failed the mot years ago, and it was nowhere near as bad! :laugh1:

 

These bodies are made by VFS/Scattolini, they're not painted, it's some sort of plastic coating, so I assume the water gets behind the coating and rusts them out. Biodegradable innit.
