Anyone noticed since lockdown there's a high ratio of knobheads out there? We've walked off a good few jobs due to clients and their neighbours being completely unreasonable, not to mention being spoken to like s*it when we're working in the street.

A lot of people are struggling financially at the moment, this sort of stress can manifest itself in all sorts of ways

Absolutely this, and not just financial struggle. I think a lot of people are experiencing fallout from a few years of mental and physical health problems piling up. Kids, students, and the elderly had a particularly rough time but we're all in it together.

I'm not sure about the exact ratio of arseholes (it's always been off in the UK) but I feel it goes both ways and some people are genuinely being more kind, empathetic, considerate, post pandemic. Confirmation bias is a thing too, don't focus on the arseholes.

Being skint isn’t an excuse for behaving like a prick.

I don’t think people have really changed, it’s just your tolerance level of annoying people just drops further and further the older you get.

I don’t know who I hate most now, people who don’t want me to work for them, or people who do.

Maybe the OP is the one who needs to look in the mirror.

He’s walked off a good few sites, one OK, two is raised eyebrows, ‘a good few’ is too many.

I get ya mick, was said to me as a kid “If One person calls you a idiot ignore them, if lots do maybe it’s time to think if you are being one”
