Camon C250 diesel wood chipper

Help please, got a Camon had it for over two years, but now will not start ? Turns over but will not fire up ?

To start it needs fuel air and compression which one are you missing?

Sorry Dumper I am old, ok with petrol but lost with Diesel

What's the engine?.

 

Start simple, air filter then fuel filter and if the pipe to the injector pump is getting fuel.

 

Without knowing the type of engine, does it have a solenoid pump for the fuel as without that ticking away it won't start ?.

If your completely lost post a pic of both sides of the engine and someone will draw on it what to try.

 

first follow fuel line from tank to filter. Does the filter have fuel?
Is so doesn’t the line from filter to engine have fuel?

If yes does the injection pump?

Then on to injectors?
If fuel to injection pump but not to injectors has fuel shut off switch got power to it?

Have you got smoke coming from the exhaust when is turning over? If so you have fuel if not fueling is the first thing to check.

Has it got an engine overheating protection system fitted, that might need re setting?

If you've used the chipper for a prolonged period in this hot weather it may have been enough to trigger it
