Is this the shortest day?  Google says it is but I thought it was yesterday.

I thought it was yesterday too, but then I heard something on the radio about it being at around 3am this

morning. I didn't quite understand that, as I thought the solstice was a day, not a time.

Why am I awake this early!?! Best get a 5ea and start the ritual of looking through the Telegraph then.

Mo Moreland, that short/fat tap dancer from the Roly Polys died yesterday, 87, thoughtvshe was old in the 1980's!

Morning all.

Up in Stockholm with the family. Had to pop to the German embassy to get the girls' passports renewed. Went to the Vasa Museum afterwards, which was brilliant.

Rather snowy here. Minus 4c and about 10cm snow lying.
