Man and Hound time is the BEST.
You say one-sided, but they get the "mood" and respond with appropriate affection/disdain.

Miss mine.

Bob . You are well early or 'kin late ! 😀

Sorry Stubby.   Been a long hard week and the thought of a quiet night with just the hound(s) for company got me.
I'll not be late on parade tomorrow. Promise.

All I can say before commiting is Hire one for a week or two first to see if you both really like the lifestyle you’ll be buying into. A neighbour spent nearly 50k on one, used it a couple of times then sold it at a great loss ☹️

Agreed entirely. We did spend several years a long time ago with touring caravans and three young children 😂. It was quite interesting today, got some ideas of what we like and what we don’t.

Why am I awake so early? She bobbed for the tea, I'm wondering in what order to do jobs! Rugby on the box this aft and she is of to watch To Kill A Mockingbird with her mum and sister so away from 11 until 5! I read the book back in the late 70's but cannot remember it! Have a good day all.

Update on the job front, I took the high paying gig selling big chippers and stuff!

Awe, Toe, Barn.

All the best with it Pete.

Morning all.

Been a quick week, gone in a blur of storm damage. Bit of a change next week with a big willow to remove then a course to go on.

Got my mates hedge to cut today, hopefully get the worst of the chores done too and make Sunday a lazy one.

Have a good one folks.

Morning, you’re not quite ready to take the easy road yet Pete!  Good walk with the dog yesterday and pub after for a few hours.  Frosty here this morning.
